Nice store but there was one female employee who was able to speak proper English yet refused to use that when communicating with us, had an attitude to herself from our initial interaction and then when we walked away from the counter she suddenly raised her voice harshly and just then switched to perfect English that the card purchase is yet to validate (which did 1 second later and could have asked us nicely to wait just a bit more). We did nothing to warrant this behaviour.
The thing is - I LOVED this store, I felt like it had an incredibly wide and carefully curated selection of items at great prices, it’s my favorite thrift store. But there’s this one male employee with curly hair that just ruins the experience for me every time I go in. He’s unhelpful, rude, and constantly hovers over me (I can only assume it’s because I’m a person of color). He acts like I’m trying to steal every time when I have shown no indication of doing so and I buy multiple items every time! I asked him if I could leave the clothes I had chosen at the front while I continued browsing (to buy more clothes!) and he said no that I had to carry them with me. Every other employee there is so kind, but he really ruined the experience for me.
