“I asked them to buy my items! The purchase price was almost always extremely cheap (10 yen). Even brand new, unused items were only 100 yen. The purchase criteria seem vague, so even though I brought the same item, the price varied depending on the day. Mercari is a hassle, and there are no major buyers around here, but I think it's a good option for people who would rather have their items reused than thrown away! I've been using mail-in purchase services lately, and I recommend them too.”

They weren't brand-name items so I was a little worried, but the staff member explained things to me kindly and I was very satisfied as they bought more than I expected. “Everything that is being sold is decently cheap. You will find many items for 300 or 550 yen. It is a small store but they have a good assortment of shirts, long pants, skirts and dresses. Mostly women’s clothing, but there is a very small men’s section too. It’s very well frequented by the local people. It’s mostly Japanese clothing. They also have some pretty nice bags and jewelry for good prices. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything for me, but the store itself is good.”
