“Got kicked out by the staff with a very poor attitude while shopping for clothes due to texting on phone with few seconds. I was inside the store selecting clothes and took a few seconds to reply to a message on my phone. Just then, I made eye contact with the staff and proactively asked in Japanese, 'Is everything ok?' He responded in Japanese, 'Get out.' Later, after I inquired, he claimed that I was causing an obstruction, but there were no other customers in the store at that time, and he wasn't working in the area where I was standing. When I was choosing clothes, I was kicked out by a store clerk with a very bad attitude. At the time, I was in the store choosing clothes and replying to a message on my smartphone for a few seconds. Just then, I made eye contact with the clerk and asked him in Japanese, "What happened?" He answered in Japanese, "Get out." I then asked and he said I was "disturbing" him, but there were no other customers in the store at the time and he was not working where I was standing.”
