“Strolled by on Saturday when the store wasn't open, but was attracted by the fun and funky, eclectic window display and a life-sized goldie replica sitting by the door. I happened to walk by again on Monday when I saw a rack of winter coats and sweaters hung under a sign indicating they're each ¥1000+tax (¥1100). Intrigued by the low price, I wasn't expecting much when I was drawn to a simple red coat. It turned out to be reversible and made from alpaca and merino wool. I took it into the store and was about to use my Google Translate app when the proprietress spoke firstly in Japanese then in English when she saw me hesitated. I was able to try on the coat and view it in front of a full length mirror. I smiled and agreed when she commented that it fitted me nicely. I glanced around as I paid and was in awe of the many clothing and accessories that were hung and displayed in the small boutique. I can see this would be a favorite, regular place to browse for a local. Like others had mentioned, the shop is a treasure trove of good finds.”
