“Definitely not the place for anime figures, crane prizes or plush, they have a very small section, literally 3 shelves, 1 side devoted to figures. Recommend going to Aki or Ikeb or shibuya. Sells everything from books, retro games, to vintage clothes, clothing, etc.. deals are plenty if you are willing to dig. My friend was able to find and buy a holy grail game, was a great find by helpful staff! Yes tax free.”

“1/20/2025 It’s a very long place and they have a bunch of manga but not many video games. They also have some used clothes but didn’t look like they have many options and they are categorized by brands.”

“This particular bookoff store is easy to get to by the Chuo line local train, once you exit the station it is diagonally across the road past Lumine. The quality and amount of books and CD’s are quite extensive with a wide variety. They also have a large men’s used clothed section if you’re up for a good deal on 2nd hand items. The selection of clothing is good with a number of items worth getting. Everything is is excellent condition and there’s a chance to find some luxury branded items as well. The prices for these items are very reasonable and more affordable than going to a known luxury resell store. I always highly recommend visiting a few bookoff stores if you’re near one.”

“I was happy to find that they have relatively large-ish collection of English books, but they seem to have given up on displaying them for costumers’ convenience. There are two rows; front and back. Just look at this “old relative’s bookshelf” vibe.”
