“The low purchase price of apparel is making fools of customers. In particular, I am appalled at the low and cruel purchase prices for male and female employees on early shifts. We also check the condition of the product excessively, and when we find something in poor condition, we use various rationales to lower the purchase price. Most of the time, my excuse at that time is that I remember one thing: the market price and stock at our store. I've asked about this several times, but most of the employees couldn't tell me what the market price was or how many items they had in stock.”
